ART OF ANNA

hello@artofanna.com

I’m Anna — a wellness educator, creator, and recovering perfectionist who spent years living out of sync with my body. After a decade of hustling in corporate and burning out as a cannabis content creator, my health collapsed.

My skin broke out, my digestion shut down, and my nervous system crashed. Nothing worked — not the green juices, not the supplements, not the dermatologists. So I turned inward and started rebuilding from the root.

Now, I help high-functioning women heal from within by regulating their nervous systems, supporting their gut, and reconnecting with their inner code.

Through rituals, remedies, and real talk, I share what actually works — from gut-friendly meals to Traditional Chinese Medicine teas to mindset shifts that go deeper than “just think positive.”

This community is for the women who’ve tried everything and are finally ready to come back to themselves.

The Back Story

It all started with a “silly little TikTok”

A woman in a black shirt holding a purple and black kitchen appliance, with a cookie on a wooden cutting board in front of her.

During COVID, I started posting videos on TikTok and Instagram of how to make cannabis edibles with healthy ingredients at home. I didn’t go viral immediately. But a year into making videos, I had my first “big break”. A silly little video blew up to over 20M views on TikTok within a week.

4 years of growing and grinding

From that moment on, I decided that maybe I could do more than just silly little videos. So I started to build an educational cannabis platform under the alias Cannabinista. I was dedicated to debunking the traditional stoner stereotype, and to showcase a new way of mindful consumption. I grew my following to 650k across all social media platforms, generated over 150M views worldwide, and spoke on dozens of industry panels.

The work I did was very rewarding, I was helping thousands of people learn more about cannabis, create healthier relationships with the plant, all while advocating for safe and mindful cannabis consumption. However, social media censorship was a huge pain in the a** for me all throughout the 4 years. And it just got worse as the years went by. I soon lost my passion for creating because I had to always censor what I wanted to say, and eventually, I had to pivot my content so much to avoid being censored, hat it didn’t even feel like my creative outlet anymore.

4 years into making cannabis content, I slowly started to burn out from social media, entered a depressing period of time, developed hormonal acne and severe dermatitis on my neck. I eventually stopped using cannabis as well. What once had become my tool for sleep, anxiety and insomnia, soon turned to something that I didn’t have a relationship with anymore.

Internally, I was at a crossroads. I built a career from educating about this plant, but now, it wasn’t part of my life anymore, nor did I want it to be either. I felt lost, disappointed in myself, and unsure of the future.

My breaking point

I left for a 45 day solo Asia trip and did some healing (cliche but it worked)

Everybody needs a eat pray love era, so I decided it was time for mine. I packed my bags, wrapped up all my remaining projects, and set off to Asia with a loose plan. All I wanted to do was disconnect from social media, not be Cannabinista anymore, and just do all the shopping and eating that my heart desired.

During this time, I finally reconnected with my inner voice. I journaled everyday, I slowed down, I didn’t look at social media, I just existed. It was the most freeing, happy, and peaceful I felt in a long time. At the end of the trip, I decided that when I went back to Toronto, I was going to stop being Cannabinista, stop making cannabis content, and pivot my entire brand completely. Sounds easier than I thought…

The beginning of something new

At the beginning of 2025, I announced on Instagram that I would no longer be making cannabis content anymore. To my surprise, 90% of the comments were supportive, and many people decided to continue to follow me along my new journey. Even though I was beyond happy about my decision, deep down I was scared and questioning whether I made the right choice. But in my heart, I knew I had to do what was authentic and real to me.

And truthfully, I’m still figuring it out right now. But I know for certain that my passion has always been in helping others learn through my trials and tribulations, whether it’s gut health, skin issues, nervous system regulation, or sharing my experience with self-acceptance, scarcity mindset, and topics like toxic productivity.

I’ve lived as a high cortisol-Type A-high functioning hustler for way too long, and now I want to bring women on my journey with me — to heal from within and through redesigning their lives.

Let’s Work Together

BRAND
PARTNERSHIPS

I partner with brands that align with my values — intentional, wellness-driven, and built with real people in mind. Whether it’s creating honest content, integrating your product into my healing routines, or co-creating something meaningful, I bring a grounded, story-first approach to every collaboration. If your brand supports women on their journey back to themselves, let’s talk.

STRATEGY +
CONSULTING

Alongside my content, I work with wellness brands as a creative strategist — helping you clarify your message, sharpen your content, and build a presence that actually connects. From content planning to brand voice to platform strategy, I bring 10+ years of experience in strategic consulting and 5+ years in social media marketing. Whether you need a content revamp or just a strategy gut-check, I’m here to help you cut through the noise.

EVENTS + SPEAKING

I also lead workshops, panels, and events for brands and communities who value real conversation, not surface-level wellness. My speaking style blends lived experience with sharp strategy — whether I’m sharing tools for nervous system regulation, burnout recovery, or building an aligned personal brand. I’ve hosted everything from intimate healing circles to large-scale experiences, including one of Toronto’s largest cannabis consumer events with over 350 guests. If you're creating a space where honesty meets impact, I’d love to be part of it.
